Job summary

Mallory Alexander International Logistics is seeking a Logistics Professional to join our Memphis team. The role focuses on credit analysis and collections within a fast-paced logistics environment.

The ideal candidate will have a 3–5 year background in credit or finance, strong Excel and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with Sales, CS, and Operations to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• 3-5 years' experience in credit, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance.
• Must be a self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong computer skills and effective written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Credit investigation of new applications, collecting industry and company data.
• Review aging reports and identify overdue accounts.
• Analyze payment trends and customer creditworthiness.
• Prioritize collection efforts based on risk and balances.
• Investigate reasons for payment delays.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Contact customers regarding past-due invoices via phone, email, and mail.
• Review accounts over credit limit for increases or holds as directed by credit manager.
• Perform reference checks; Credit reporting to agencies.
• Facilitate resolution of customer complaints and billing issues.
• Adhere to approved credit limits and payment terms.
• Work with outside collection agencies as needed.
• Perform yearly customer reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
