Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 3–5 years’ experience in credit, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance.
• Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and strong computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and deadline discipline.
• Organized with good relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Credit investigation of new applications by collecting data from multiple sources.
• Review aging reports and identify overdue accounts.
• Analyze payment trends and assess creditworthiness.
• Prioritize collection efforts based on risk and balances.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Contact customers about past-due invoices by phone, email, or letter.
• Review accounts over credit limit for increases or holds as directed.
• Perform reference checks and credit reporting to agencies.
• Facilitate resolution of billing issues and customer complaints.
• Adhere to approved credit limits and payment terms; work with outside agencies as needed.
• Conduct yearly customer reviews and other duties as assigned.
