Job summary

Mallory Alexander International Logistics is seeking a Logistics Professional to support billing and financial operations. You will generate, audit, and process invoices, code vendor and utility bills, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will collaborate with internal teams, maintain invoicing databases, and create reporting tools to drive efficiency and data-driven insights. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Experience as a Data Analyst, Billing Analyst, or similar role in finance or accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.).
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proven problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely invoices using Excel and/or billing software.
• Review, classify, and code vendor and utility invoices prior to payment.
• Research and resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
• Communicate with clients regarding invoice status, corrections, or required documentation.
• Maintain and update invoicing databases to ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze financial data to identify variances and correct errors promptly.
• Collaborate with internal departments to verify and align financial information.
• Create and enhance financial spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Provide data-driven insights to improve billing accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Run daily reports and update dashboards as needed.
• Support general financial analysis and reporting tasks.
• Assist with light administrative duties, including travel arrangements and expense report handling.
