Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and offers operational assistance to the Project Manager as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain positive working relations with all drivers.
2. Communicate service issues to relevant internal and external personnel.
3. Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources.
4. Coordinate daily data entry into NFI’s order-management system, TMW.
5. Work with the invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate customer invoices.
6. Complete daily and weekly tasks accurately and on time.
7. Provide weekly KPI/performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
8. Coordinate truck and trailer maintenance scheduling.
9. Collaborate with the safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance, and HOS issues.
10. Assist with implementing safety, security, and labor policies.
11. Provide departmental coverage during absences if necessary.
12. Manage driver payroll and audit expense reports.
13. Assist the Project Manager as needed.

Qualifications:

1. 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation.
2. Experience with MS Office and TMW preferred.
3. Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
6. Willingness to work extended hours if necessary.
