Job summary

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to train as a subject matter expert in logistics. You’ll coordinate with transportation partners to ship freight, support sales teams, and help grow the business.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service or sales experience.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills—face-to-face and over the phone.
• Ability to work full-time, in-office, in a fast-paced open environment.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates and secure capacity with transportation partners to move freight at favorable and competitive pricing.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to support daily shipment execution.
• Communicate with internal sales teams and transportations partners to build and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time.
• Input and process accurate shipment data in our state-of-the-art systems.
