Responsibilities

• Source and arrange bookings for truckload carriers.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate carrier coverage for loads requiring dray service.
• Audit driver logs for driver’s accuracy.
• Prepare bills of lading and related transportation documents.
• Determine efficient shipping methods and negotiate prices.
• Assist accounts payable with carrier invoices.
• Update in-house TMS system.
• Monitor customer score cards and vendor ratings.
• Review documents from third parties (letters of credit, bills of lading).
• Respond to customer concerns on transportation matters.
• Gather and update DC/Transportation data.
• Log and schedule warehouse equipment maintenance.
