Job summary

Big Bolt LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support our manufacturing operation in Bloomingdale, IL. The role focuses on coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, acting as a liaison across Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Sales to keep materials and orders moving.

The position requires at least two years of shipping/logistics experience, familiarity with Bills of Lading, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Serve as the primary internal expeditor between Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Sales.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading and other shipping documentation.
• Investigate and resolve UPS claims, delivery concerns, and freight-related issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records in NetSuite ERP.
• Assist with month-end inventory and shipping activities, including inventory adjustments.
• Identify and resolve logistics issues that could affect production or customer orders.
• Help improve shipping processes and overall operational efficiency.
