Job summary

Syfan Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the operations team.

You will communicate with carriers and customers to guarantee on-time service for all shipments and maintain strong relationships. This role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and the company’s transportation management system to manage load data, updates, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the company Transportation Management System.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing loads.
• Team collaboration in a high-call-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches carriers by phone and computer in a professional manner.
• Manages load information including pickup and delivery times using logistics software.
• Tracks and communicates driver movements to shippers and receivers.
• Directs and resolves inbound calls to obtain status updates for on-time delivery.
• Updates Carrier Sales and Customer Sales Reps about delays or issues.
• Validates load data and requests documentation for discrepancies.
• Documents communications with carriers/customers in TMS logs.
• Identifies load issues and works with the team to implement solutions.
• Performs other duties to support optimal operations.
