Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Strong emphasis on customer service and communication.
• Proficiency with a Transportation Management System (TMS) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch carriers by phone and computer with efficiency and professionalism.
• Manage load information including pick-up and delivery times using logistics software.
• Track and communicate driver movements to shippers and receivers.
• Update sales reps on shipment delays or issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Validate load data and request documentation for discrepancies.
• Document communications with carriers/customers in TMS logs.
• Identify load issues and coordinate team solutions.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
