J.McLaughlin is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the Product Development and Supply Chain team in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn office. The role focuses on coordinating POs and inbound logistics from issuance to delivery, working with vendors, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners.

The position follows a hybrid schedule and involves maintaining PO data, vessel bookings, and shipment monitoring to ensure timely shipments to the warehouse.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of logistics, supply chain, import/export, or PO management experience.
• Experience with international freight forwarders and coordinating ocean shipments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/PO management systems.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage Purchase Orders with accurate information.
• Update POs with changes to quantities, delivery dates, and shipping details.
• Coordinate vessel bookings with freight forwarders and schedules.
• Monitor shipment status from cargo readiness to final delivery.
• Publish transit lead-time charts by country and port.
• Report shipment delays and potential risks to Production weekly.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Production, vendors, forwarders, and warehouses.
