Job summary

J.McLaughlin is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the Product Development and Supply Chain team in Brooklyn. The role manages purchase orders, inbound logistics, and collaboration with vendors, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners to ensure timely shipments.

The position is primarily based in Greenpoint with a hybrid schedule, reporting to the Director of Production. Strong Excel skills and ERP/PO system experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export, or purchase order management.
• Experience with international freight forwarders and coordinating ocean shipments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or PO management systems.

Responsibilities

• Issue Purchase Orders and ensure PO information is accurate and complete.
• Maintain and update POs, including changes to quantities, delivery dates, shipping details.
• Coordinate vessel bookings with freight forwarders and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor shipment status and publish transit lead-times and costs to support planning.
