Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments, optimize dock scheduling, and support inventory and back-up duties. The role requires interaction with carriers, customers, and site personnel, and involves Oracle ERP, BOL processing, and Hazmat documentation.

This is a first-shift position from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Key tasks include ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, preparing reports, and assisting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years manufacturing related experience is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain forklift certification.
• IATA, IMDG, DOT certification.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety policy manuals, SOPs, SDSs, and production schedules/reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous service while waiting on drivers, vendors and other visitors.
• Coordinate all outbound shipments and make/record loading appointments for the site.
• Process trucks to be loaded and ensure correct Oracle ERP entries via handheld scanner or computer screens, printing and processing of BOL.
• Ensure correct carrier information is entered into system.
• Inspect trailers before loading and loads per the order; follow load patterns.
• Maintain BOLs and filing for a 2-year period per regulations.
• Prepare other reports such as late shipment, open order, tons shipped.
• Support Logistics Manager in duties and cover absences.
• Responsible for all ship confirms for bulk and rail and arranging rail movements.
• Label hazardous loads per IATA, IMDG, and DOT requirements and handle Hazmat docs.
