Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co in Louisville seeks a Logistics Coordinator to keep inventory flowing smoothly and shipments on schedule. You will report to the Receiving Manager and drive efficiency across our warehouse operations.

The right candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and data-driven, with strong communication skills for carriers and internal teams. Proficiency with Latitude and MS Office is a plus; pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Education and experience as listed: high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, or inventory management preferred.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems; Latitude is a significant plus.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with carriers and vendors.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Receipt & Shipment Management: Review open receipts in Latitude, verify paperwork, manage LTL details.
• Issue Resolution: Own the Issue Shelf, resolve vendor, transfer, and accounting discrepancies.
• Delivery Coordination: Schedule truck deliveries and coordinate with carriers for timely receipt and dispatch.
• Data Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory records and generate operational reports.
• Relationship Management: Build strong vendor and carrier relationships and follow up on issues.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and suggest workflow improvements.
• Compliance & Audits: Assist with cycle counts and audits per company procedures.
