Qualifications

• Education and experience as listed: high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, or inventory management preferred.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems; Latitude is a significant plus.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with carriers and vendors.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Receipt & Shipment Management: Review open receipts in Latitude, verify paperwork, manage LTL details.
• Issue Resolution: Own the Issue Shelf, resolve vendor, transfer, and accounting discrepancies.
• Delivery Coordination: Schedule truck deliveries and coordinate with carriers for timely receipt and dispatch.
• Data Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory records and generate operational reports.
• Relationship Management: Build strong vendor and carrier relationships and follow up on issues.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and suggest workflow improvements.
• Compliance & Audits: Assist with cycle counts and audits per company procedures.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind our supply chain efficiency:

• Receipt & Shipment Management: Review open receipts in Latitude, verify paperwork accuracy, and manage LTL shipment details to ensure post-pending status.

• Issue Resolution: Take ownership of the "Issue Shelf," promptly resolving vendor, transfer, and accounting discrepancies.

• Delivery Coordination: Schedule truck deliveries and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.

• Data Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory records and generate reports on operational metrics, shipment status, and discrepancies.

• Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with vendors and carriers, following up on late or damaged shipments to prevent recurring issues.

• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in receiving or scheduling workflows and suggest improvements to boost performance.

• Compliance & Audits: Assist with cycle counts and audits while ensuring all activities comply with company procedures.

What You Bring to Our Louisville Team (Essentials for Success)

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; a college degree is preferred.

• Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, or inventory management is preferred.

• Technical Skills: * Proficiency with warehouse management systems (experience with Latitude is a significant plus).
