Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. on Market Street in Downtown Louisville is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our longstanding, family-owned team. You will accurately pick and prepare orders, read customer orders, and retrieve items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.

We emphasize teamwork, safety, and dependable attendance. The role requires standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy.
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders.
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
