Job summary

LUX dynamics, a Reno-based LED manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound freight, coordinate with vendors and customers, and ensure timely, cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods.

In this role you will book deliveries, schedule inbound shipments, verify shipment details, enter POs in the ERP, and collaborate across teams to resolve discrepancies while driving continuous improvement in logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics coordination or freight brokerage.
• Experience with LTL/FTL and small parcel shipments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and business software.

Responsibilities

• Book outbound deliveries to customers through approved freight brokers.
• Schedule inbound deliveries of raw materials and components to the factory.
• Verify shipment information (dimensions, weights, classifications) for vendor and customer shipments.
• Enter and maintain POs for freight bookings in the ERP system.
• Hold freight brokers accountable for quoted rates, service quality, and on-time performance.
• Communicate shipment status with internal departments regarding delivery dates and exceptions.
• Confirm shipping documentation is accurate prior to shipment.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure correct shipping information for every load.
• Track and resolve freight-related discrepancies, billing issues, or delivery concerns.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and reduce freight costs.
