Job summary

Merraine Group in Brickell, Miami, is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support freight brokerage and transportation operations. The role requires hands-on experience managing shipments and collaborating with customers and carriers to resolve issues in real time.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple shipments end-to-end, maintain accurate records, and ensure on-time service while supporting a performance-driven Operations team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of direct experience in a 3PL or freight brokerage environment.
• Experience managing both FTL and LTL shipments from start to finish.
• Ability to coordinate multiple active shipments simultaneously.
• Experience communicating and negotiating directly with transportation carriers.
• Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian freight transportation operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments from pickup through final delivery.
• Coordinate transportation activities across the United States and Canada.
• Communicate directly with carriers, customers, and internal Sales teams.
• Track multiple shipments simultaneously to ensure on-time service.
• Identify and resolve delays, scheduling conflicts, and service disruptions.
• Maintain accurate load information, shipment records, and transportation documentation.
• Ensure shipment accuracy and compliance with internal operating procedures.
• Proactively communicate updates and service issues to customers.
• Contribute to a collaborative, efficient, and accountable Operations team.
