Job summary

Walthall Oil Company in Atlanta is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods across the supply chain, oversee storage and transportation, and ensure timely delivery to customers. You will track shipments, create orders, assist with dispatch routing, and coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch - answer phones and emails in support of daily operations.
• Customer order creation and invoicing through Delivery Works.
• Leverage wireless monitoring to optimize dispatch routing through Smart Tank.
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues related to order fulfillment.
• Assist with DEF, Package, Fuel and Oil rack operations for in/outbound shipping and receiving.
• Assist with Inventory control and procurement procedures.
• Work with our driving team to build efficiency and coordinate shipments.
• Be involved with onboarding of new drivers and safety meetings.
