CMC is seeking a transportation-focused professional to support scheduling, dispatch, and customer service within our shipping operations. You will coordinate deliveries, manage driver communications, and organize shipments for timely, accurate fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Two years of transportation experience preferred.
• DOT Manual compliance and regulations knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask responsibilities daily.
• Excellent follow up skills.
• Excellent research and investigation skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to fluid transportation circumstances.
• Ability to act as a team player and work closely with others.

Responsibilities

• Determine correct truck and trailer to service customers.
• Delivery scheduling and communicating with drivers while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Must be customer service driven.
• Regularly communicate, interact and coordinate with internal and external customers.
• Organize various components to form single shipment.
• Book shipments with ocean carriers.
• Navigate challenging shipping issues that regularly occur.
• Keep yards updated with schedule changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
