Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking a logistics-focused professional to coordinate truck and trailer requests, schedule deliveries, and maintain strong customer relations. You will interact with drivers, internal teams, and external customers to ensure timely shipments and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Two years in transportation preferred (brokerage, dispatching, or management in trucking).
• DOT manual compliance knowledge required.
• Export experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prioritize and multitask daily; excellent follow-up and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine correct trucks and trailers to service customers.
• Schedule deliveries and communicate with drivers while maintaining customer service.
• Regularly coordinate with internal and external customers.
• Organize components to form a single shipment.
• Book shipments with ocean carriers.
• Navigate shipping issues and changes; keep yards updated.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need
