Job summary

Compass Connections in Cameron, TX is hiring compassionate professionals to support children in emergency shelter and group home settings. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish fluency and a strong clinical background.

You will meet regulatory guidelines, supervise staff, provide crisis counseling, and maintain detailed records while collaborating with referral sources. A Master’s in social work or related field with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Master's in social work with 2+ years of direct service delivery experience.
• Master's/PhD in psychology or sociology with clinical requirements and 2+ years experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of clinical employment in behavioral sciences.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Maintain on-call schedule to support children and staff.
• Provide counseling and crisis management as needed.
• Record and report clinical data and maintain child records.
• Coordinate with referral sources and providers.
• Attend scheduled meetings and participate in team decisions.
