ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - CASA GRANDE, AZ

Arizona Gateway Logistics (AGL) is expanding and has created a new entry-level position for its logistics group. The nature of this position is to be clerical support for the logistics aspect of international and domestic freight AGL manages on behalf of our clients.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Tracking and scheduling assigned freight shipments
  • Process arrival notices ensuring all documentation is correct and complete
  • Initiate and maintain freight shipment files
  • Ensure timely receipt of Proofs of Delivery and distribution to clients
  • Verify and update freight data in various transportation management systems
  • Report on all discrepancies with or without resolutions to the Department Lead
  • Prepare weekly activity report on status of freight shipment activity
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by Department Lead

Key skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Reliability, punctuality and following company’s schedules
  • Clear and accurate written and verbal communication
  • Timely and effective responsiveness to tasks and requests
  • Personable and professional demeanor

Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Associate Degree in Business or equivalent of education/work combination thereof
  • Minimum six months’ experience in freight logistics
