Siemens Energy is seeking a senior logistics professional to lead and oversee international logistics projects within the Gas Services division. You’ll review performance dashboards, coordinate with suppliers, enforce contractual provisions, and drive continuous improvements across the global value stream.
Requirements include a Business Administration degree, 8+ years in logistics, experience with cross‑functional teams, German and English proficiency, and strong MS Office and SAP skills, plus

Your day will start by reviewing and remedying any short-term logistical arisings reported from your stakeholder network. This could be anything from a quick phone call to a multi-functional meeting where you coordinate responses.
Next up is a weekly review of your performance dashboard which includes KPIs on budget, on-time delivery performance, transport damage, responsiveness, and risk mitigation. You initiate actions with logistics partners to continuously improve performance.
Your afternoon starts with a regular performance review with one of your key logistics suppliers. After that you head off to a new project steering committee where you present the logistics concept for the transportation of blades and vanes along the value stream. Finally, you ensure any highly critical shipments for the day are progressing to plan.

About the Team Gas ServicesOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
