Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to manage repair purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and monitor backlog to support operational performance.

You will coordinate Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to ensure on-time order execution, using SAP and MS Excel to analyze data and resolve order issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in a field related to supply chain management.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel required.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance.

  • Ensure order accuracy and manage escalations to uphold delivery commitments.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple global orders to meet production and customer deadlines.

You start your morning by releasing several purchase requisitions in your queue. You then attend two repair shop production meetings to monitor upcoming deliveries and overdue orders to relay to internal customers. After lunch, you gather monthly shop performance data for our internal repair shops to share with management for an upcoming KPI review. You end your day by troubleshooting several past orders with GR/IR discrepancies to ensure accurate financial and inventory status. Throughout the day, you proactively resolve issues, manage escalations, and communicate with stakeholders to maintain order accuracy, understand the urgency of specific orders and ensure critical delivery commitments.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Create repair purchase requisition and purchase orders and monitor backlog and delivery milestones to support operational performance and business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to ensure on-time order execution.
  • Leverage SAP knowledge and understanding of logistics and export compliance requirements to support efficient global order fulfillment.
  • Ensure order accuracy, maintain critical delivery commitments, and manage escalations through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple global orders simultaneously, balancing competing customer requirements, production schedules, and business deadlines to ensure on-time delivery.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance or related field
  • 5+ year’s experience in a field related to supply chain management
  • proficiency in Microsoft suite including excel
  • Proficient with SAP
