Responsibilities

• Conduct daily check calls with carriers to confirm shipment status, pickup progress, and delivery timing.
• Communicate shipment updates, delays, and potential issues to the account team.
• Maintain accurate shipment information and records.
• Support customer and carrier relationships through professional phone and email communication.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, load building, and other daily account activities.
• Dispatch trucks to pickup locations and communicate shipment instructions.
• Assist with qualifying carriers and discussing shipment details and rates as additional responsibilities are assigned.
• Perform other administrative and account support duties as needed.

Employment Type: Temp-to-hire

Duration: Approximately two months on contract, through early/mid January

Pay: $21.18–$23.54 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking highly organized Logistics Coordinators to support a major customer account and provide daily assistance to a Logistics Account Executive. The primary focus will be conducting check calls with carriers to track shipments and help ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Additional responsibilities may include appointment scheduling, load building, dispatching, and customer and carrier communication as proficiency grows.

Training and Growth Opportunities

Training typically takes approximately two to three weeks, with continued support as employees become comfortable in the role. Coordinators who demonstrate strong performance may take on additional account responsibilities. The team anticipates potentially hiring the temporary coordinators into permanent positions; conversion is not guaranteed.

Interview Process

1 and done interview. The on-site interview includes a job shadow followed by a meeting with the hiring manager.

Holiday Schedule

The office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Opportunity for overtime
