Job summary

Big Bolt LLC, a nearly 50-year-old manufacturer of specialty fasteners, seeks a Logistics Coordinator in Bloomingdale, IL. This onsite role supports production and customer deliveries, coordinating shipments and internal expediting across departments to keep orders on track.

You will prepare shipping docs, maintain records, and resolve freight issues, with a focus on teamwork, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations.
• Bilingual, Spanish and English is preferred.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Serve as the primary internal expeditor between Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Sales.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documentation.
• Investigate and resolve UPS claims and freight-related issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using NetSuite ERP.
• Assist with month-end inventory and shipping activities, including inventory adjustments.

We're looking for a Logistics Coordinator who can help ensure materials and shipments move efficiently while providing exceptional internal support across multiple departments.

What You'll Do

As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in keeping production and customer orders on track by:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries
• Serve as the primary internal expeditor between Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Sales
• Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documentation
• Investigate and resolve UPS claims and freight-related issues
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using NetSuite ERP
• Assist with month-end inventory and shipping activities, including inventory adjustments
• Identify and resolve logistics issues while helping improve operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations
• Bilingual, Spanish and English is preferred
• Experience preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong verbal and written communications kills.

• Excellent attention to detail, Self and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in a high-volume manufacturing setting
• NetSuite ERP experience is a plus, but not required
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-first mindset

Work Environment

This role is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse setting and may include:

• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day
• Exposure to warehouse noise and varying temperatures
• Occasional overtime based on business needs
