Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking a Control Tower Specialist in Tolleson, AZ to oversee the end-to-end product flow from vendors to distribution centers and stores. You will supervise daily Control Tower operations, coordinate warehouses, logistics teams, and store operations, and deliver daily and urgent reports to leadership.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel use, and experience with RMS/WMS.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accountability.
• Advanced analytical capability and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, large datasets).
• Experience with RMS, WMS, and relational databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with all management levels.
• Experience leading diverse teams within operational environments.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, Control Tower, or distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory flow, and operational analytics.
• Familiarity with warehouse, dock, receiving, and transportation processes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; able to stand/sit for long periods; able to access all warehouse areas.
• Work in a Distribution Center environment with temperature variations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Control Tower and Store Support Command Center operations and track tasks, exceptions, and open items.
• Ensure efficient communication between warehouses, logistics teams, TJ Ops, and store operations.
• Oversee Control Center functions including store processing, store launching, and order adjustments.
• Maintain logs and deliver daily and urgent operational reports.
• Provide biweekly performance reporting and escalation reporting to GMs and Regional Managers.
• Track operational trends using Control Tower data and monitor service levels and capacity.
• Monitor receiving functions and warehouse processes including dock management and system workflows.
• Support inventory accuracy targets (up to 99.98%) and JIT reporting compliance.
• Oversee daily warehouse appointments ensuring adherence to RDD guidelines and capacity.
• Monitor depot capacity by DC and identify risks of overbooking/underutilization.
• Track DC-to-DC transfers and ensure timely preparation and receipt.
• Support demand/supply planning to optimize product flow across channels.
• Analyze large volumes of data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve end-to-end supply chain execution.
• Utilize Excel tools, reporting systems, and databases to improve speed and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Operations, TJ Ops, and PM teams.
• Support vendor communication and onboarding; assist TJ Ops with negotiations.
• Monitor weather/construction/other events impacting DC/store operations and report risks.
• Notify leadership of disruptions and assist with response planning.
