Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking a First Shift Client Support Specialist to handle inquiries via phone, email, and chat. The role involves coordinating with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure accurate order entry and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of 3PL customer service experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with WMS/TMS. Some college is a plus; duties include safety adherence and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college is a plus.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience in a 3PL environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Word and Excel.
• Preferred: experience with inventory management systems and fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address customer needs to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships.
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently with timely solutions and follow-up.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams like warehouse and transportation.
• Input all customer orders and special shipping requests accurately.
• Track orders and communicate status updates proactively.
• Coordinate with operations on shipping logistics, order tracking, and inventory availability.
• Manage order paperwork and maintain organized files.
• Maintain and update procedures manuals for client support processes.
• Run reports to check product availability and inventory integrity.
