Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a First Shift Client Support Specialist in Indianapolis to act as the primary liaison for clients. You will handle inquiries via phone, email, and chat and process orders while coordinating with warehousing and transportation teams.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of customer service in a 3PL environment, strong English communication, and basic MS Word/Excel skills. Spanish is a plus and familiarity with WMS/TMS is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college is a plus.
• Experience: 1–2 years of customer service in a 3PL environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address customer needs to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships.
• Resolve customer complaints with timely, appropriate solutions and follow-up.
• Serve as liaison between customers and internal teams like warehouse and transportation.
• Input customer orders accurately and process special shipping requests.
• Track orders and provide status updates; coordinate with operations on shipping logistics.
• Manage order-related paperwork and maintain organized files.
• Maintain procedures manual for client support processes and safety guidelines.
• Run reports to check inventory integrity and identify variances.
