Qualifications

• Strong computer skills in Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Transportation/Logistics experience.
• Ability to handle high volumes of inbound email.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Knowledge of time/distance geography.
• Some familiarity with AS/400 operating system.
• Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities.
• Well organized and communicative with a high degree of initiative and independent execution.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with drivers via phone and system messages.
• Plan loads for markets and customer accounts.
• Pair empty trucks with freight and confirm assignments with drivers.
• Balance trailer pool inventory across regions to meet surge coverage.
• Monitor loads and resolve issues affecting pickup or delivery; communicate with customers.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports as required.
