Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks, and containers, optimize routes, and improve productivity. The role focuses on safety, customer experience, and efficiency across daily routing operations.

The position requires analytical thinking, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. Experience in a Dispatcher or leadership role is preferred for ensuring on-time pickups and service excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize capacity and productivity.
• Ensure routes are closed on time with accurate data.
• Respond to same-day or next-day service changes and plan accordingly.
• Proactively manage driver safety and security of company assets.
• Collect and analyze logistics data to improve routing accuracy.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers with necessary updates.
• Address missed pickups and service commitments promptly.
• Create routes with maximum capacity and review loads per driver per day.
• Monitor swing routes and track opportunities for improvement.
• Discuss disposal plans with the Operations Manager and adjust as needed.
