Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Logistics Analyst to analyze and improve supply chain operations. The role focuses on process mapping, data analysis, and implementing continuous improvement projects across logistics functions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design and optimize supply chain solutions, coach staff, and establish performance metrics using Lean Six Sigma tools. The position is salaried with standard benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, transportation, or industrial engineering.
• 3+ years of industry-related experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• 8+ years of industry-related experience with a High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver issues (intermediate).
• Knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, graphics, word processing, mapping, routing and scheduling, facility layouts (intermediate).
• Basic knowledge of Integrated Logistics: Transportation Distribution, Customer Service, IT (beginner).
• Acquire product knowledge; knowledge and adherence to process methodologies; Six Sigma Certification (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Maps and documents processes.
• Recommends continuous improvement opportunities.
• Supports the design and implementation of Supply Chain Solutions.
• Works with team to develop alternative solutions.
• Coaches and counsels employees on performance and sets standards.
• Collects data and performs statistical analysis.
• Conducts transportation and logistics studies.
• Establishes KPI measures.
• Uses Lean Six Sigma tools (5S and 5Whys).
