Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower is seeking a Logistic Analyst to lead daily operations with 3PLs, streamline freight workflows, and support ERP transitions related to logistics.

The role requires coordinating with Customer Service, Sales, and Finance to optimize inbound/outbound transportation, manage freight quotes, and develop training for new hires while delivering KPI insights and ensuring compliance. This position is based in Minnesota with full employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management desired or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience processing domestic and international shipping activities and resolving freight-related issues.
• Industry related certifications desired.
• Advanced knowledge of different shipping modes (LTL, FTL, Over-Dimensional, Parcel, Containers) and associated transportation regulations.
• Proactive problem solver and independent decision maker capable of making sound financial decisions related to freight expenditures.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, set timelines and independently prioritize workload.
• Proficient in the use of standard office software programs and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations with 3PLs and oversee logistics partners.
• Streamline procedures; propose process improvements for logistics; coordinate with other departments.
• Assist with ERP transition related to Logistics functions.
• Process, audit and approve freight invoices/logs from 3PLs.
• Stay updated on industry trends; monitor domestic and international freight issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on freight damage claims and follow-up.
• Advise on inbound transportation activities: scheduling, tracking, freight quotes.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on inbound transportation opportunities and improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for freight issues with CS, Sales, Finance, Purchasing and carriers.
• Develop and deliver new hire training for Logistics Coordinators.
• Lead Logistics KPI reporting and analytics.
• Provide tactical support to plant Shipping teams.
• Assist with International compliance, documentation, training.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations with TCF’s third-party logistics partners (3PLs).
• Streamline logistics procedures and workflow, create process improvement suggestions for the logistics department, engage with other departments as needed to minimize negative impact.
• Assist with ERP transition as it relates to Logistics functions.
• Process, audit and approve freight invoices/logs from 3PLs.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and monitor updates on domestic and international freight issues.
• Partner with Customer Service team with freight damage claim submission and required follow up/analysis.
• Advise the Supply Chain team on inbound transportation activities including scheduling, tracking and obtaining freight quotes.
• Partner with Supply Chain team on inbound transportation activities and opportunities for improvement - including scheduling, tracking and obtaining freight quotes.
• Second level (escalated) point of contact for Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Purchasing, carriers and other logistics partners regarding freight issues.
• Develop and deliver new hire training and continuing education for Logistics Coordinators.
• Lead and manage Logistics KPI reporting and analytics.
• Provide tactical support to the plant Shipping teams as needed.

As a Logistic Analyst you will be offered pay of $54,000-$62,000 per year dependent on experience. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus tied to overall performance of the organization.
