Aston Carter is hiring a Logistics Agent for the 2nd shift at the Willow Run airport area. You will help move freight efficiently, coordinate with carriers, and ensure timely pickup and delivery of parts across the country.

The role requires 2+ years of customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced call-center-like environment. The position offers hybrid onsite/remote work after the first month with shift premiums.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to assess their shipping needs and determine the fastest and most cost-effective shipping solutions.
• Coordinate logistics by identifying required resources such as trucks and pallets.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to resolve logistics challenges.
• Engage in clear communication over the phone to manage customer sales and retention.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail is crucial in logistics operations.

Work Environment

The position requires working a 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. The work environment is a fast-paced, dark call center with cubicles. Employees work eight-hour shifts without a traditional lunch break, allowing them to eat while working. The position offers a hybrid work model with four days onsite and one day remote after the first month. Shift premiums are available for hours worked between 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and during weekends. Applicable shift premiums can be combined. Overtime requires supervisory approval.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
