Job summary

National Logistics Services (NLS) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join the accounting team. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and focuses on daily accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The ideal candidate will have a College Degree or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet daily/weekly metrics.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent working experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming vendor invoices.
• Run billing reports and reconcile information.
• Verify billing requirements and post daily invoices.
• Monitor inquiries via email and phone for billing issues.
• Maintain and update vendor files as needed.
• Assist in processing weekly payroll and commissions.
