OSI Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Iowa. The role involves operating different machinery, setting up equipment per schedule, and ensuring sanitation at close. You will monitor operations, record data, calibrate systems, and communicate issues to supervision.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and 0–1 years of related experience. Work environment is a food manufacturing plant with standard GMP requirements and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Ability to perform comparative analysis and make recommendations.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and follow a designated recipe.
• Basic understanding of units of measure and their applications.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written specifications, blueprints, or schematics in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of machinery as assigned.
• Set up equipment daily per production schedule and sanitize at day’s end.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot basic malfunctions; notify supervisors for major issues.
• Record data and adjust parameters as needed; calibrate systems by time, temp, and position.
• Interpret temperatures and use measuring devices correctly.
• Assist maintenance with preventative maintenance programs.
