Job summary

OSI Group Batavia, IL is seeking a production technician to operate machinery as directed by leadership and to participate in sanitation, calibration, and data recording throughout a shift.

The role emphasizes following recipes, reading specifications in English, and maintaining equipment with a focus on safety and GMP adherence. Overtime and bonus opportunities may apply, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written specifications in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment daily per the production schedule and sanitize at day end.
• Monitor operations, troubleshoot minor issues and notify supervision for major problems.
• Record data, calibrate systems, and read measuring devices.
• Work with maintenance on preventive maintenance and best practice methods.
• Maintain a safe, clean production area and comply with GMPs and policies.
• Take ownership of equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
