Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and medical standards.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform heavy physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Wire, maintain, repair, rebuild, inspect and install electrical equipment.
• Read electrical prints and test circuits using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions and handle high voltage tasks.
• Operate and move locomotives within shop limits; follow safety rules.
• Maintain safety equipment and complete safety training annually.
