Qualifications

• Two years full-time general locksmithing experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
• Experience with manual and computerized key record and filing systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Locksmith Access Technician I: Perform entry-level locksmith tasks and assist in resolving basic lock and key service requests. Help with campus-wide key and lock systems and card access.
• Locksmith Access Technician II: Independently perform locksmith services and support advanced master key systems. Collaborate with campus departments to evaluate and implement key and lock systems and card access.
• Locksmith Access Technician III: Manage complex locksmith tasks and lead the design, installation, and maintenance of complex master key systems and software. Supervise programming ensuring all security protocols are operational.
• Locksmith Access Technician IV: Lead the design, engineering, and management of campus-wide advanced master key systems and software. Act as project leader and oversee daily operation and maintenance.
