Job summary

The role also manages keys, master key records, inventory, and documentation to meet security standards. Two years of full-time locksmithing experience or equivalent is required; graduation from an approved locksmithing program preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time locksmithing experience or equivalency (one year of education may substitute for two years of related work experience).
• Experience with manual and computerized key records and filing systems.
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair campus lock systems (cylindrical, mortise, rim, electrified hardware).
• Repair and replace panic hardware, door closers, and various locks.
• Manage master key records and documentation; monitor maintenance and inventory.
• Assist with key and lock systems, card access, and safety protocols.
