Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., works well with hands, and climb ladders.
• Must possess verbal communication skills necessary to provide excellent customer service.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and insurability under UT driving policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, rebuild, and service mechanical locking devices.
• Disassemble door locks and repair or replace worn parts.
• Assist with records of locks and keys; meet work schedules and service requests.
• Work under general supervision of the appropriate journeyman or the Manager of Structural Maintenance.
