Job summary

Western Alliance Bank in Las Vegas is seeking a part-time Lockbox Processor to support the Receivables Operation. You will handle data entry, sorting mail, and deposits while maintaining accuracy and timely processing to ensure excellent client service.

The role involves 40 hours in the first and last weeks each month, with potential for annual bonus/incentives. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to 10 key by touch and perform alphanumeric data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Receivables Supervisor on executing a comprehensive, prompt and efficient client experience.
• Support the daily workflow and ensures a smooth and efficient operation.
• Execute a variety of routine tasks which may include sorting mail, data entry, extracting payments and/or correspondence, reviewing payments to ensure accuracy, and scanning of deposits using high speed optical scanners.
• Ensure strict processing deadlines are met prior to designated cutoff times.

What you'll do:

As a Receivables Processor you'll be supporting the Bank's Receivable Operation which enables customers to accept electronic and traditional paper-based payments. You'll capture remittance information using efficient technology and will transfer information to output files and reporting. You'll work with a team of Receivable Processors to expedite collections of payments and the posting of payment information while focusing on delivering a high level of customer service and providing a professional, prompt and accurate banking experience. Your key responsibilities will include data entry, basic quality control, balancing/reconciliation of deposits.

Working Hours:1st and last week of month: 40 hours per week

• Responsible for supporting the Receivables Supervisor on executing a comprehensive, prompt and efficient client experience.

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $17.36 - $19.92 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
