Job summary

Western Alliance Bank seeks a Loan Operations Administrator II to support accurate, compliant loan operations. You will perform monthly account certifications, daily reconciliations, and monitor invoices while ensuring regulatory compliance and portfolio integrity.

You will analyze processes, resolve issues, and provide responsive service to internal and external stakeholders, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, plus three (3) years of banking or financial services experience.
  • One to three (1-3) years of experience in lending activities, terminology, products and services.
  • One to three (1-3) years of work experience in loan operations activities and terminology.
  • One to three (1-3) years of knowledge of applicable state and federal banking compliance regulations and Bank lending policies.
  • Advanced PC skills including Word and Excel.

Loan Operations Administrator - Reconciliation

Location: West Sahara

What You'll Do

The Loan Operations Administrator II performs a variety of loan operation functions that support accurate, compliant, and efficient lending operations. This role completes monthly account certifications, performs daily account reconciliations, monitors reimbursable fees and invoices, and supports regulatory and procedural requirements. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of loan operation processes, lending terminology, and banking regulations. The Loan Operations Administrator serves as a key operational resource by helping maintain loan portfolio integrity, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and delivering responsive service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations and certifications for various account types related to loan activity.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Monitor assigned reports and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all records, reports, and data received or produced.
  • Provide effective customer service and assist with resolving issues within assigned authority.
  • Use computer systems efficiently to process loan activity, determine balances, and resolve issues within assigned authority.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or GED, plus three (3) years of banking or financial services experience.
  • One to three (1-3) years of experience, knowledge, and training in lending activities, terminology, products and services.
  • One to three (1-3) years of work experience, knowledge, and training in loan operations activities and terminology.
  • One to three (1-3) years of knowledge of applicable state and federal banking compliance regulations and Bank lending policies.
  • Advanced personal computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Typing skills sufficient to meet the production needs of the position.
  • Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; identify routine mathematical errors; and compute rates, ratios and percentages, including drafting and interpreting bar graphs.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, prepare reports and correspondence, and communicate clearly with customers and employees. Ability to resolve problems involving multiple factors and variables in non-standard situations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime, including evenings and/or weekends.
  • Ability to travel locally and/or regionally.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing assigned duties.

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $66,000.00 - $74,000.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
