U.S. Bank is seeking an Operations Manager in Saint Paul, MN to lead a team of about 12 in the National Lockbox operation. The role focuses on people leadership, process improvement, and client service to achieve SLA targets and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who coaches staff, solves complex problems, and drives continuous improvement while balancing development, efficiency, and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically three or more years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lockbox operations and ensure SLAs are met.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~10 operations employees.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance discussions.
• Address employee concerns in a professional and constructive manner.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Learn all operational functions and provide hands-on support.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, quality and metrics.
• Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Serve as escalation point for operational and client concerns.
• Partner with internal lines to resolve client issues.
• Investigate complex processing issues and exceptions.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and resolutions.
• Communicate and follow up on client concerns.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes.
• Drive change initiatives and encourage innovation.
• Leverage fresh perspectives to improve workflows.
