Hub Group is seeking a Location Supervisor in Birmingham to assist the Location Manager with day-to-day operations, delivery routing, and contractor recruitment. You will build strong client relationships while driving efficiency and growth across the location.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, leadership capability, and excellent communication. This role includes collaboration with the client and a focus on safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Experience in management and/or logistics is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Proven leadership and planning ability is required.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize workloads are crucial.
• Excellent negotiation skills to work with individuals and groups.
• Solid organizational and leadership abilities are needed.
• General computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400.

Responsibilities

• Assist Location Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Manage deliveries and routing at the location(s).
• Assist in recruiting and retaining contractors.
• Foster engagement and a positive culture at the site.
• Collaborate with client and Location Manager directly.
• Enforce operational policies across the location.
• Oversee warehouse operations where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
