Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Localization Project Manager to support day-to-day translation operations, coordinating with vendors, content owners, and internal reviewers. You will manage translation requests, prepare materials, and ensure timely project delivery while tracking performance metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in translation project management, with strong communication and process improvement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years managing translation projects with timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Familiarity with translation quality management using glossaries, termbases, and style guides for consistency.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process translation requests from internal content owners.
• Prepare source materials for translation following a standardized process.
• Coordinate questions and clarifications between linguists, translators and content owners.
• Collaborate with internal linguistic reviewers to gather feedback on vendor translations.
• Create and maintain translation project schedules and allocate resources.
• Update stakeholders on project status and potential delays.
• Coordinate submission of translations for regulatory review and approval.
• Work with vendors to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations.
• Develop and improve linguistic assets such as glossaries and style guides.
• Maintain documentation of translation projects and linguistic decisions.
• Track KPIs such as turnaround time and vendor performance for process improvement.
