Job summary

Intuit seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to serve clients on-site at TurboTax locations in the United States. You will provide in-person and virtual tax preparation, integrate with a team of specialists, and help grow the local client base through community outreach.

Role emphasizes deep tax knowledge, personalized client care, and collaboration with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services within the Intuit ecosystem.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual tax returns using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time; hrs may expand during peak tax season.
• Willing to complete training and development as required by the business; uniforms and use of name for advertising may be required.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; content creation and community engagement welcomed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory services encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, including complex personal and business returns.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base and engage with local events.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
• Help clients plan for future taxes, retirement, education funds, and other financial goals.
