Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will deliver full-service tax preparation and expert tax guidance to both in-person and virtual clients, acting as the bridge to a broader team of specialists.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax preparation experience and tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 20 hours/week minimum, 8:00–17:00 local time.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business; uniforms and name usage for advertising.
• Interested in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including complex personal and business returns.
• Lead local growth through targeted outreach, events, and partnerships to attract new clients.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Develop long-term relationships and ensure a seamless customer experience across services.
• Deliver excellent service and help clients reach financial goals with tax planning.
