Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location, providing hands-on tax preparation and advisory services to in-person and virtual clients, and collaborating with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will build local client relationships, grow the TurboTax business in your community, and participate in local events, while delivering a best-in-class customer experience with Intuit resources.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours per week.
• Must complete training and development as required by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and provide tax planning guidance.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and community partnerships.
• Deliver a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience for clients.
