Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax preparation and expert tax advice at a local TurboTax location. You will engage with clients in person, support complex scenarios, and collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to deliver a complete Intuit experience.

You will also drive local growth, build relationships, and host community events while representing Intuit in marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience and tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll or advisory services.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 20 hours/week min, 8:00–17:00 hours.
• Must complete required training and development.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable using name/picture in ads.
• Interest in building local/online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete TurboTax preparation for clients.
• Handle simple to complex personal and business tax situations.
• Lead discovery sessions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds.
• Introduce clients to integrated Intuit services (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Deliver end-to-end service with a team of specialists when needed.
• Engage with customers in person and via TurboTax tools.
